SAT Blood Tests

I just finished reading The Naked Brain by Richard Restak. It argued that we might soon have to test for performance enhancing drugs before students take important standardized tests.

Lots of students take Ritalin to help them study and do well on exams. Students with prescriptions often sell the drug to classmates. I don't know if the drug helps the average student, but I suspect it does. Given the tremendous importance of the SATs, I imagine many students take Ritalin-like drugs to help them on the SATs. Mandatory SAT blood tests might be the only way to stop this.

If there are any investigative reporters reading this, consider interviewing high school seniors and asking them if they know anyone who has taken a Ritalin-like drug to help them on the SATs.
