The Naked Brain also claims that we emotionally respond very positively to pictures of people that sort of look like us, and politicians might soon start exploiting this. Politicians could use picture databases to customize a picture of themselves for each voter. A computer program would merge an image of the candidate and an image of the individual voter.

I imagine that mailers to voters would contain these artificial images. And when Internet Television becomes more commonplace, political advertisements would also contain these altered images.
