Rich kids and cool jobs
"the 'cool' professions, such as journalism, are heavily populated by children of the rich, but they don’t wear t-shirts that say 'my parents are decamillionaires,' so unfortunately many middle-class children try to get into these professions without realizing how the odds are so stacked against them"
The higher the fun or "cool" factor of a job the less an employer has to pay to attract talented workers. You would expect the children of the super-rich who (1) feel they should get a job and (2) would increase their wealth by only a trivial amount from having a job, would take jobs that have the maximum possible amount of "cool" factor. If there are many of these children then the market wage for the high "cool" factor jobs will be very low.
