How small time bloggers could get the attention of presidential candidates

I have no doubt that high audience bloggers could get a presidential candidate to answer a few of his questions. But how could small time bloggers such as myself do it?

Individually we couldn't but we might if we team up. We could all formulate a set of questions for a candidate (probably using some kind of voting mechanism) and then all promise to put the questions and answers on our blogs if the candidate responds. If enough bloggers agree to do this then a candidate might feel it worth his or her time to answer our questions.
