Abortion and conservatives voting for Hillary

From the New York Post: "Still, McCain has so radicalized key conservatives that some have vowed to turn themselves into suicide voters next November by pulling the lever for Hillary Rodham Clinton over him."

Most conservatives believe that abortion is murder. McCain is very pro-life whereas Hillary not only supports abortion but believes that the government should subsidize it.

Given McCain and Hillary's views on abortion how could a pro-life conservative vote for Hillary? Any conservative who puts campaign finance reform and immigration policy ahead of abortion can't really believe that abortion is murder.
