Paying the obese to lose weight

"Obese and overweight adults in England could be paid to lose weight under plans being considered by the Government."

If financial incentives don't cause people to change their eating habits then the scheme won't work. But if such incentives do influence eating habits then the plan will cause people to gain weight so they can then get paid to lose it.
