Thank you rich people

From the NYT "The top 1 percent paid 27.6 percent of all federal taxes in 2005, up from 22.9 percent in 2003."

Thank you rich Americans for being so incredibly productive that your taxes finance over one-fourth of the U.S. federal government. Because of your talent and hard work middle-class Americans such as myself pay much lower taxes than we otherwise would.
