ETs probably not bored by us

From the NewScientist "Messages sent into space directed at extraterrestrials may have been too boring to earn a reply, say two astrophysicists trying to improve on their previous alien chat lines."

Unlikely. The only way that extraterrestrials would find our messages boring would be if there were lots and lots of other intelligent races in our galaxy. And if this were true we would have almost certainly detected at least one of them by now.
