Cameras, advanced technology and terrorists

I suspect that the computer technology we will have in ten years will allow us to easily solve our Iraq terrorist problem.

Imagine the U.S. military has really cheap cameras and excellent computer face and body recognition technology. The military could put a billion cameras all over Iraq and hook them up to computers. The military could then make it a crime for anyone they don't approve of from having a weapon. If a camera catches anyone holding a weapon who shouldn't be, U.S. troops are sent in.
