The Larak Solution

Larak is an Iranian Island in the Strait of Hormuz. It is a major oil shipment port and contains a military base. The UK should announce that if Iran does not return the 15 captive British sailors then Britain (with the help of the U.S. and possibly Israel) will capture the Island, expel all Iranian citizens from Larak and set up a military base on the new British territory.

Taking the island will humiliate the Iranian government. Controlling the Island would furthermore help the U.S., Britain or Israel in any future conflict with Iran.
