Windfall tax on Bill Clinton
Hillary Clinton wants a windfall tax on oil companies' profits. Windfall taxes are supposed to be taxes on income that is unearned. Well, Bill Clinton has made $40 million in the last six years from just giving speeches. Surely Bill Clinton did less to earn this $40 million than the oil companies did to earn their profits. Thus, if Hillary Clinton supports a windfall tax on oil companies she should certainly support one on speech making ex-presidents.
